About Stewart Landscape Construction
Stewart Landscape Construction Ltd was recently formed by Mark Richardson, who has been involved in commercial and private landscaping at management level for more than 15 years. Prior to establishing Stewart Landscapes, Mark was MD of a national Landscape company operating three offices across the country and undertaking highway maintenance, commercial landscaping and private projects. Griffin Earthworks was acquired as an extended arm of the company to offer further services. Griffin was established in 1963 and covers areas of earthworks as displayed on griffinearthworks.co.uk.
Stewart Landscape Construction Ltd provides a broad base of professional landscaping skills extending from hard landscaping through to arboriculture works. We specialise in a variety of areas such as bespoke urban gardens including terraces and roof gardens. Additionally, we have a soft landscaping division carrying out the planting of semi-mature trees and shrubs, soil, de-compaction and grass seeding. We are also able to offer a design and consultancy service through our in-house landscape architect, that also includes dealing with planning issues for all forms of landscaping. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work. To further enhance our service we have close working relationships with external specialists such as surveyors and landscape architects.
All of our personnel are certificated in a range of disciplines to industry standards and all hold CSCS cards. In addition, our management team individually specialises in earthmoving, landscaping and environmental projects and are fully certificated to industry standards in the specialist operations. We currently employ 27 members of staff.
We have a pro-active approach to health and safety in all aspects or our work and our day to day health and safety requirements are managed by an accredited consultancy practice, P & M Associates.
We hold both employers liability insurance and public liability insurance to a figure of £5m and in addition we hold a contractors all risk insurance. All of our insurance requirements are served by NFU Mutual.
